Thomas Jefferson had a unique style of dress and comfort was important. Ellen Coolidge, his granddaughter wrote in 1826: "His dress was simple, and adapted to his ideas of neatness and comfort. He paid little attention to fashion, wearing what-ever he liked best, and sometimes blending the fashions of several different periods. He did nothing to be in conformity with the fashion of the day." Jefferson and most men in the 18th century wore this type of shirt, though different fabrics were used.
Inspired by one of Jefferson's shirts in Monticello's collection, it is made of pure, polished cotton in the USA. Generously cut. Men's sizes S (17"), M (17 ½"), L (18 ½"), XL (19 ½").
