My husband works at Sam's club in the subzero freezer, he needed a boot to keep him comfortable, with ankle support, and that is water proof. These boots (KEEN Utility Men's St Paul 6" Composite Toe Waterproof Work Boots) meet so many positive necessities, the boots are attractive and check all the boxes, amazingly comfortable, and have great support for standing all day.WARNING: Unfortunately the boots are "NOT" slip proof when on a wet and slippery surface. This boot on a normal concrete surfaces is perfect! However, when walking on a wet frozen surfaces, concerns for safety is to be considered. Please be aware with concern, you need to consider the boot tread is like being on ice skates when working in a subzero freezer. Since I was determined to make sure my husband was safe as well as comfortable, I added a "no slip spike-less cleat" to his shoe. Now he has a boot that meets all his needs. We decided not to give the boots a bad rating since wearing the boot in a freezer isn't a normal circumstance, we didn't feel it would be fair to rate the boots negatively. I hope my review truly helps someone, I spent many hours searching for the right product for my hard working husband. I too rely heavily on reviews like mine to help choose the right product. :)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FCXWX27/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1These boots are tough. But by no means are they soft! 9's always fit me, and these are a bit large and my foot slides around in them a bit. Maybe they will break in in time, but for now, they are really stiff and where the boot does bend in the step it folds in an uncomfortable way on my foot. This shoes are really comfortable, and feels very strong material. This boot is very comfortable. The break in period was very short ide say 2-3 days wearing them around the house and running errands. They are very durable. The one complaint I have is they do not breath at all. My feet are completely soaked with sweat in about 4 hours. I work 14-20 hr shift so I will be buying a different boot for work but will definitely keep these for a spare or just waling around boots.Muy buenas las recomiendoAfter wearing other Keen work boots for years, I had decided to order the St. Paul model. Great fit, and good comfort. These are better insulated than previous boots, so they are expectedly a beefier boot.Wore them around the house, and deemed that they were a good enough fit to bring to work.1st day: Working in office and boots felt good.2nd day: Wore boots while reading water meters in town. Quite the comfort test. Passed with flying colors. Problem was, before midday, heard an air leak every time I stepped with my left foot. This is something I don't like hearing even on an eight month old boot. That's the sound that means my boot is no longer waterproof and water will be coming in through the sole. Also the noise that alerts me to buy another pair of boots.I contacted Keen and they told me it would be covered under warranty, but contact Amazon.I went through the Amazon return procedure, but I couldn't get another St. Paul in 13 wide. Too bad, I like this model. Perhaps next year. We'll see how the Portlands I ordered will do.Good BootsSturdy boot, neck a little tight to get foot in, main issues was the rub on the tops of the toes, needs more cushion.Slowly breaking them in. Had not had this issue with other KeensEl dobles de la punta daña muy rapido la tela, y al poco tiempo ya da apariencia de zapatos viejos, habia comprado otro modelo que me duro 4 años sin ni siquiera cambiar ajugetas, este modelo no me duro el año, yo no lo volveria a comprar
